Advanced Configuration

Following is the advanced configuration, and we suggest that you consult JV-Extensions support before changing them if you dont know what is their purpose or if you need more information. These need to be changed only in rare cases. They are defined in Joomla JV-CL backend - Configuration screen. See image below:


Load JQuery:
Usually Joomla templates load jQuery already. But if it is possible that your template does not, then you need to set this to Yes to load jQuery. It will load JQuery 3.1.1.

Bootstrap Version:
JV-ContentLinks uses Bootstrap functions to display elements in front-end. Select the version of Twitter Bootstrap that your Joomla template loads for your site. If you are in doubt, please consult JV-Extensions Support.

Load Bootstrap CSS?:
Set to Yes and appropriate version, only if your Joomla template is not loading Twitter Bootstrap CSS. If yes, JV-CL will load Twitter bootstrap css file.

Load Bootstrap JS?:
Set to Yes and appropriate version, only if your Joomla template is not loading Twitter Bootstrap Javascript. If yes, JV-CL will load Twitter bootstrap js file

Enable Debug Mode?
  • Choose None, if you dont want Debug mode
  • Choose Simple, if you want very minimal debug info on browser
  • Choose Notice, if you want to view Notice level debug messages on the browser
  • Choose Detail, if you want to log detailed messages in {Joomla}/tmp/com_jvcl.debug.html
